Hey I know that I haven't actually seen a particular video about this exact incident but I had to change my steering column in my 2012 Sorento after the whole Tick Tock incident and the steering column that I replaced it with that car did not have fog lights so I had to get a new blinker arm with a fog light switch and that was added and when I added it it kicked my steering wheel off by about 90° when I tried to straighten it it did the same but the opposite direction I know it's not the clock spring because the clock spring is behind the part that I was working on and I did not touch or mess with that plus I don't have any airbag lights on or or anything else that would indicate that is there any quick answer to how to line the steering wheel to the front tires? Is it is simple as making sure your tires are straight and lining it up when you tighten down that large bolt in the middle of the steering wheel thanks so much for any any help

@SERGMOTIVE GARAGE do you know of any configuration that would allow a stock RSX Type S ECU to run a K24? Mine says it runs lean and I wondered if upgrading the fuel pump might do the trick. I'm running the K24 injectors and don't know what else to try.. :/

Holy shit. That's a complicated way for a clutch replacement. Honda missed the mark on this especially since the clutch is a part that is made to wear out.

I had the same problem when installing the camber kit, the bushings are so stiff it’s hard to fit the bolt in😂

Yes remove tensioner but might be a good idea to mark cam gears to chain links for timing if we do not have the cam lock tool

If the hub won't come out what do you do? I've hit the thing so much it's literally destroyed now and I can't get to the snap ring underneath, Update got that bitch out, had to cut away the hub with a carbide burr until it slipped out

The A2 Pump is better than the Type S pump, the parasitic loss comes from the balance shafts that can be deleted. The PRB Type S Pump still needs the oil pan. The Type S pump needs modifications even to just hit 9k RPM reliably. The A2 does not need modification for 9k RPM, and just needs a spring and a port job for 10k Engine RPM. When you block off the balance shaft oil port from the A2 you get another boost in oil pressure. The main thing with the Type S is that it is an "easier" mod not that it is necessarily better. Baffle pan on a K24 pump reduces the frothing at high RPM that would cause a drop in oil pressure at high RPM. At low RPM you are going to lose oil pressure on a K20 pump because of the gear size.

I’m wondering if this kit is different for the rsx unit. And would it fit or just buy the rsx version? Definitely love watching all his videos!!

What was the torque spec the reverse thread lock bolt on the countershaft?? 90 or 100ft.lbs?

lol, doesnt matter top dead center or not , even if you move it over or whatever then you risk another being at top dead center, your always gonna have one at or near top dead center, but Yes just be careful and dont froce anything ! Damn Buddy you used enough assembly lube to put together 10 heads ! If you got it like that send me some assembly lube ! good video

Great video. I am doing this right now and decided to replac emy 3rd/4th hub as well as it is equally as chewed up as the sleeve. Im confused as my synchotech kit has 2 smaller synchros that differ from yours. They appear to not have the bass inner part whatever its called. Am i dupposed to just reuse the old ones for 5th and 6th?? Thanks!

I'd suggest you revisit this steering rack, notice at 8:00 when you install the metal sleeves/bushings - they face the other way and should snap into the slider so that the sleeve sticks out of the front of the slider. Incorrectly intalled sleeves are almost flush with the new slider. See correct orginal install at 4:50 during disassembly,
